Elgato Stream Deck Plugins

Live MLB Scores

Live MLB Scores

Live MLB Scores was developed so that I could always see the time, and score, of Braves games on my Stream Deck. I had hoped someone would create one but, with the advent of AI vibe-coding, I decided to try my hand at it with the help of Claude Cowork. After telling Claude what I wanted, and a short back and forth, the framework was created.

Simply drag Live MLB Scores onto a button on your Stream Deck, select which team you’d like to follow, and if a key press takes you to the current game’s MLB Gameday or MLB.tv page. Once you’ve done that, you’re good to go.

Live MiLB Scores

Live MiLB Scores

After creating Live MLB Scores, I realized it would also be handy to see the scores of teams’ minor league affiliates. Just like with Live MLB Scores, simply drag Live MiLB Scores onto one of the Stream Deck keys, then you can select a MiLB team by either the league that they play in, or their MLB parent organization.

With this one, you have the ability to set the key press to launch an MiLB Gameday page, or take you to the MiLB.tv stream.

Live MLB Scoreboard

Live MLB Scoreboard

Once Live MLB Scores and Live MiLB Scores were in a good place, I decided that, as a Stream Deck XL user, it would be really convenient to see all of the day’s MLB games on one screen. A little more chatting with Claude, and it was able to create the plugin.

I’d only recommend this for people using a Stream Deck with more than 15 keys, as that is a normal amount of games for a full MLB slate. There could be more if there are double-headers. Another option would be to use this with a Virtual Stream Deck, to have all the scores show up on your screen.

Drag Live MLB Scoreboard onto a key, and it will tell you how many more keys you will need to add until all the day’s games have been added. I personally have 16 keys dedicated to this, just in case there is one double-header. If there are more games than you currently have dedicated keys for, the last key will always show how many more you need.

Live NFL Scores

Live NFL Scores

With football season underway, it only made sense to bring the same idea to the NFL. Drag Live NFL Scores onto a key and pick any of the 32 teams by searching for them or choosing a division. Before the game you’ll see the matchup and kickoff time, during the game you get the score, quarter, and clock, plus who has the ball (and whether they’re in the red zone), and once it’s over you’ll see the final.

A key press opens the game in ESPN Gamecast, or you can set it to open a link of your own, like your streaming service, once the game kicks off. On bye weeks, the key shows your team’s next game, and a press opens their schedule.

Live CFB Scores

Live CFB Scores

Live CFB Scores works just like Live NFL Scores, but for college football. It covers all 136 FBS teams across every conference, with the same live score, quarter, clock, and possession info, and it handles multiple overtimes.

Just like the NFL version, a key press takes you to ESPN Gamecast or your own custom link once the game starts, and on off weeks it shows the next game on your team’s schedule.

Live NHL Scores

Live NHL Scores

Live NHL Scores brings hockey to the Stream Deck. It covers the NHL, and, like Live MiLB Scores does for baseball, it goes down the pipeline to the AHL and ECHL, for 94 teams in all. Search by team name or city, or pick a league and division. Searching for an NHL team also brings up its AHL and ECHL affiliates, so you can follow a whole organization side by side.

During a game you’ll see the score, period, and clock, and finals show whether a game went to overtime or a shootout. A key press opens the game’s Gamecenter page, or a custom link of your choice.

Live NBA Scores

Live NBA Scores

Live NBA Scores brings basketball to the Stream Deck, and it covers the NBA, WNBA, and G League, 76 teams in all. Search by team name or city, or pick a league and then a division or conference. Searching for an NBA team also brings up its G League affiliate.

You’ll see the tip-off time before the game, the score, quarter, and clock during it, and the final once it’s over. In the last two minutes of the fourth quarter and overtime, the clock turns red and the key updates faster. Since basketball scores change so often, the key only flashes when the lead changes hands. A key press opens the game in ESPN Gamecast, or a custom link of your choice.
